Series Mania Institute is launching a new training course for European TV drama writers and producers called Eureka Series.
The four-month course will take place in Lille between 6 September and 10 December and be delivered entirely in English. 6 writers and 6 producers will be selected from across Europe to participate in the programme, each with some prior experience as an "emerging professional".
The objectives of the course are threefold: to foster a European creative network; to remove barriers between TV professionals; and to increase diversity of representation, both in the stories and the storytellers.
