Ivan Lovreček

Born on June 19, 1976, in Zagreb, Ivan Lovreček is a television editor and producer. He began his career as a journalist and editor at BBC World Service and later worked as an editor and producer on numerous television projects spanning news, documentary, magazine, and sports programming. During his 14 years in leadership roles at RTL, he was creator, editor, and producer behind numerous television shows and sports events. In 2021, Ivan became actively involved in drama production as a producer for the series The Outsiders for the media company 24sata. Subsequently, he co-founded the production company CGM Films leading to the production of the teen drama series SRAM for Croatian Radio Television (HRT). During Croatia's accession to the European Union, Ivan participated in aligning Croatia’s regulatory framework in the audiovisual sector. He continues to be actively involved in advising on the development or amendment of media laws. Ivan is a member of the Royal Television Society (RTS) in the UK and holds an MBA specializing in the Creative Industries from the Hult/Ashridge Business School.
