Dunja Bovan

Born in 1989. in Split. In 2008. she graduated from Tituš Brezovački Gymnasium in Zagreb. After Dutch language and literature and Information Sciences Studies at the Faculty of the Humanities and Social Studies, she gained a BA degree in TV, Film and Theatre Production at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb in 2017. Additional education was acquired by finishing the Festival Production Management Training, organized by The Festival Academy / European Festival Association. During and after university studies, she has worked in organization teams of film and music festivals (ZFF, ZagrebDox, Motovun Film Festival, Review of Amateur Film, Animafest Zagreb, Mediterranean Film Festival Split, Four River Film Festival, Outlook, and Dimensions). From 2016 to 2020 she was an executive producer of the International Documentary Film Festival ZagrebDox, and from 2015 to 2019 she worked as a festival coordinator at Zagreb Film Festival. She was an associate at the production team on the theatre festival Holland Festival in Amsterdam in 2018. Presently, she is an administrative secretary of the House Collective association and a manager at House of Klajn – artist residency and a community center for independent culture in Klanjec. She is also engaged in various cultural projects in Croatia.
