Dana Budisavljević is the author and co-author of several award-winning documentaries, such as “Sve 5” (Factum, 2004), which brought her the Grand Prix at 2005 Croatian Film Days and four other international festival awards, “Godine hrđe” (Factum, 2000), in cooperation with Andrej Korovljev, TV serial “Veliki brodolomi Jadrana” (Ring Multimedia, 2007), in cooperation with Davor Šarić, and “Novo, novo vrijeme” (MFF, 2001), directed by Igor Mirković and Rajko Grlić. She holds a degree in film and TV editing. As a student she launched the first student film festival entitled F.R.K.A. Later on she joined the closest organisational team of the Motovun Film Festival. In 2005 Dana and Nenad Puhovski launched the ZagrebDox - the largest regional documentary film festival. In 2006 she founded the company Hulahop together with Olinka Vištica. She is currently involved in the making of her second independent documentary film “Family Meals” and the production and, from time to time, direction of the youth documentary show “Changing the World”. She participates in the Animafest organisation and jointly with Olinka creates and produces feature and documentary projects within Hulahop.
