Sunny Side of the Doc 2019 - 30th Anniversary

2019 will be the 30th Anniversary of Sunny Side and we would like to bring new talents and producers working already with the international market and those who would like to do so.  In particular we are looking forward to welcome producers from Balkans, Central and East Europe, we are talking with several institutions to see how Sunny Side can help to have small delegations for each country and how national Film Centers and Audiovisual Funds as well producers associations can support them.  Sunny Side of the Doc is a 4-day event that brings together broadcasters, decision makers, financing bodies, distributors, content creators and producers from around the world to sell or buy projects and programmes, and to find coproduction partners. There are 5 pitching session which are: Art & Culture, Social & Human Interest, History, Science & Knowledge and Science & Knowledge.    To give you an idea of the market I invite you to have a look to our trailer clicking on the following link, this will help you to understand how our market is and the atmosphere: Sunny Side of the Doc 2018 GERMANY will be the Country of Honour and we're putting the spotlight on the finest SCIENCE storytellers and innovative approaches to science programming. It's an opportunity to make new contacts, spark ideas and give life to ambitious projects with international potential which will inspire people to popularize scientific topics. That of course it doesn't mean that the other thematics won't have their role to play, not only with the pitching session but also with curated events and networking events.  Our idea is to invite national institutions, festivals, TV channels and producers associations to join forces and have a grouped booth that could be  where producers can have a dedicated space to held their meetings as well the right visibility on the market.  For you to know we did that with Northern Ireland & Scotland this year, producers were supported from the Screen Center and from the Celtic Film Festival plus TV channels contribute as well. The result was really positive as Irish and Scottish producers had the chance to exchange and meet with international producers, buyers and international distributors.  Sunny Side of the Doc is above all a meeting market, we want to help international players on the field of documentary and factual content to connect and create new opportunities to collaborate and to do so it would be great to find a way to work together with you.  Please note also that producers will have a reduced rate for registration and within the accreditation is already included 1 project to be submitted for the pitching sessions or a finished programme to be included in the industry catalogue.
